Education 3D Grid

It has been announced today that IDCAS in conjunction with its community partners have decided to re-brand the “Virtual 3D” service as “Education 3D Grid”.  This will take effect upon the release of version four alpha. Website:  www.Edu3DGrid.com

Virtual 3D Network: Initial Testing

IDCAS reports that the new “Virtual 3D” network backbone is functioning at peek performance during initial testing stage.  Within the next few days version 3 beta will be upgraded to version 4 alpha.  Further testing will take place in advance of this migration.

Virtual 3D Network Upgrades

In its continuing efforts to improve the “Virtual 3D” training platform IDCAS proposes the establishment of a new network backbone.  This will be independent to any currently controlled IDCAS servers.  Work will be completed in advance of version four’s official alpha release which will take place on the 27th of this month.

BPSA Executive Meeting

Attended the executive meeting of the British Pharmaceutical Students’ Association.  Previous day had discussed with BPSA various issues regarding the “IHRI Virtual” service.  Today presented additional information to their executive council.
