Today Mark Bannon took part in the ICANN 37. The meeting will continue tomorrow also. He made a statement that in his view the event went very well and that none of the issued covered should have a negative impart on the academic community.

DNSSEC on Roots I and M
DNSSEC for the root zone is a joint effort between ICANN and VeriSign, with support from the U.S. Department of Commerce. It was implemented on roots I and M earlier today. Next scheduled deployment will take place on the 24th of this month and will affect roots D, E and K.
